Practise a full paper or a focused challenge

The CSIR NET library includes timed previous year papers and shorter Sunday Challenges. Full papers use the section limits and marking shown in their instructions. Challenges have their own question counts, duration and marking, so read the instructions before starting. The public library shows which papers are currently available.

Work on accuracy and question selection

Before a timed attempt, revise one topic and decide how you will choose questions. During the paper, use section navigation and mark uncertain questions for review. A correct answer is only part of the exercise: check whether your reasoning was sound and whether the time spent was worthwhile.

Turn your result into a revision list

After submission, review the answer key and the explanations available for that paper. Separate concept gaps from calculation mistakes and rushed decisions. Return to the relevant definitions and examples, then make a fresh attempt after revision. Completed attempts remain separate so that your earlier work is preserved.
