Practise different question formats

IIT JAM practice on TestPaper supports multiple choice, multiple select and numerical answer questions. Read the marking instructions for the selected paper rather than assuming every format has the same rules. Use a focused challenge when you want to work on one subject, and a previous paper when you want a broader timed attempt.

Use the explanation after making an attempt

For a topic such as Linear Algebra, write down the definitions and assumptions behind your answer before opening the solution. For Real Analysis, check whether a theorem's hypotheses actually hold. Compare that reasoning with the explanation available for the paper, and make a short note of the step you missed.

Repeat with a purpose

A second attempt is most useful after you have revised the errors from the first. TestPaper keeps completed attempts separate and shows your personal history. Comparisons are limited to the same paper revision so that a changed question does not become a misleading measure of improvement.
